Marabella Enterprises has produced a new short film about family caregiving, called “The Caregiver”.  The 16 minute film, powered by Reading, PA based cast and crew, features Barry Ciabattoni, Kirk Lawrence, Tom Rader and Rafaelle (M.E.’s very own flat-coated retriever diva!). Written and directed by Santo D. Marabella, The Caregiver provides a sobering look at the challenges of being a family caregiver to a loved one.  

The Caregiver provides a sobering look at the challenges of being a family caregiver to a loved one. Marabella, an only child, was the primary caregiver for his parents, Anna and Sam.  He was fortunate to also have a professional caregiver help him with his parents’ physical needs.  During this time, Santo learned a lot about the role, challenges and gifts of the family caregiver.  The Caregiver shares some of what Marabella learned and some of what he’d like viewers to know.
